I have my iron ring, convocation is pending and exams are over! I am home from school and waist deep training for my temporary career as a biking daughter! It is becoming more and more apparent with the daily bike tweaks and component additions that I may have been more qualified for this position having graduated with a mechanical degree as opposed to my much more static civil engineering education! It happens to be snowing today so we have resorted to dueling spinners in the empty room above the garage, a perfect opportunity to fit my aero bars and watch the end of the hockey game!
As Dad is out doing some of the technical stuff, I am filtering through logistics… the first on his list was “how do I add a new page to the blog…” so here it is.! The one month countdown!
And heres to many more; rainy training days, bike trips to peterborough, rediculous tan lines (my initial Kingston bike trip burn has now started peeling, here comes layer two!), repetitive playlists, newly discovered routes, funny sights (there are some great mailbox names out there!) and father/daughter bonds (practicing now will make it a whole lot easier come day 32!!)
